Named Best Michigan Public Golf Course 2010
Originally built in 1922-1923, Dearborn Hills is the oldest public golf course in the area. The course was extensively renovated and expanded in the 1990s, adding 16 ponds to the course, hundreds of trees, and a distinguished clubhouse, restaurant, and banquet facilities. The additions and expansions have earned Dearborn Hills additional awards and recognition, including being named the “Official Best Michigan Public Golf Course 2010” by Detroit News readers.
Clubhouse and Grille Restaurant
In 1995, a classically styled brick clubhouse was added to the golf course. This 7,000 square foot clubhouse offers sweeping views of the first and tenth holes. The clubhouse includes a pro golf shop, meeting rooms, and banquet facilities for wedding receptions (with accommodations for outdoor weddings on the green). The Grille Restaurant, which is also located in the clubhouse, is usually only open Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. (The Grille has a limited menu.)
